Elizabeth “Betty” Blake

Mrs. Blake was Junior Service Guild President for the 1934-35 and 1937-38 Club years.  In 1929, her husband, Edward T. Blake, was the chief clerk for Arizona Edison Company.  At the time of the 1930 Federal Census, he was an accountant for the Freeman ice manufacturing plant located along the railroad tracks on Frye Road.  Mr. and Mrs. Blake moved to Tucson in late 1938.  Mr. Blake's parents were Edward M. Blake and Mary Otis Blake who were early farmers in rural Chandler and active in the Chandler Methodist Church.
