University Scholarship for $3500.00

Chandler Service Club annually awards a scholarship to a graduating high school senior or splits it between multiple seniors who will be attending one of the three major universities in Arizona the following year. The following students are eligible to apply:

Chandler residents.

Students who are not Chandler residents but live within legal Chandler Unified School District boundaries and attend school in the CUSD. Students who live outside of the CUSD boundaries, but attend CUSD due to a boundary exemption are disqualified.

2. Members of Chandler Service Club will judge the applications. Qualifications will include need, potential, character, and scholastic standing. Funds will be paid directly to the recipient for payments of fees, books, etc. It will be the responsibility of the recipient to keep Chandler Service Club informed of his/her progress in school. Scholarship funds must be used starting with the next academic year after having been awarded, unless other arrangements are made with Chandler Service Club.

Please complete and return the following information to your counselor by April 15, 2010:

Completed scholarship application form.

Two letters of recommendation (at least one from a teacher).
An official transcript of grades.

An incomplete or late application will automatically void the applicant.
